Gotham Knights Season 1

After the pilot was shot in Canada, the decision was made to take the show to Georgia for a series. Over 12 episodes, we created a Batman Gotham without Batman and on a television budget.

So excited and honored to be invited to design for the DC Universe. World building is the best thing about Production Design. Starting our show with some Batman ground rules gave all the creatives room to grow and stretch to create this very written story. Going back through the Batman/DC books and movies, taking an idea, and reworking it for our needs was incredible.

The Winchesters Pilot

The prequel to the hit CW series Supernatural.’ Shot on location over 15 days in New Orleans, LA. Set in the early 1970s, the series tells how Dean and Sam’s parents, John Winchester and Mary Campbell, met, fell in love, and fought monsters together. The show was picked up for series and ran for one season on the CW Network.

Legacies Season 1-4

Where ‘The Originals’ and ‘The Vampire Diaries’ left off, ‘Legacies’ picks up the story. Using scenery from both shows, we created a school for the supernatural students where they explored their teen years, discovered their powers, and fought monsters trying to end the world. More than a monster of the week show, the young people faced the challenges of growing up ‘different.’

The exciting challenge for this series is that the characters would travel to other film/ tv genres via a ‘therapy box,’ giving us many different looks for many episodes. Some included 80’s slashers, Star Wars, Noir, medical drama, fantasy, etc…

The Originals Season 1-5

I joined ‘The Originals’ towards the end of Season 1. The spinoff of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ follows the stories of the original family of vampires through their 1000-year lives and modern-day battles to reclaim the city of New Orleans.

A fun and challenging show. There are many different looks and periods, from Vikings to The Renaissance to ultra-modern chic looks. We recreated a small section of the French Quarter in Old Town Conyers, GA. Working to make everyone’s supernatural powers look real and believable in a world of vampires, witches, and werewolves was fun.
